About
Yourself
|
My
wife and I moved to the village late in 1979 intending to stay
for just a few years. Like so many, we have however found it
hard to leave and consequently all three of our children are
fortunate enough to be able to count themselves as natives of
Great Glemham. |

Attractive
and yet unpretentious, Glemham is an great place to live. Set
in beautiful, well wooded countryside,it has, in the Crown,
an excellent pub. The Village Hall, already well used and full
of character, is about to undergo a major refurbishment making
it an excellent facility for the village well into the twenty
first century. All Saints Church is a delight and is lovingly
and very well maintained.
People are friendly and there is a wide variety of activities
and interest groups within the village; for example, I have
spent many happy hours "treading the boards" of the
village hall with the Alde Valley Players and trying to produce
a convincing drawing with the Art Group. |
