About
Yourself
|
My
wife, Nicola, and I have lived at three addresses in Gt Glemham
and
have now put down roots in a lovely cottage right in the middle
of the
village.
We love living here and, when we are not pursuing the unequal
struggle in
the garden, we are usually walking or riding our dilapidated
bicycles in the
countryside around Great Glemham.
I am a very amateurish bee-keeper and look after a hive at the
end of our
garden. I have also joined the parish council. |

Everyone
here is very willing to offer help and advice. I am never
stuck for second opinions - whether about bee keeping, gardening
or what
sort of bicycle tyres are most resistant to punctures!
There is strong "can do" spirit in the village: the
efforts made to restore
the village hall and the church can be read about on other pages
of this
website; and the annual Six Charities Sale, in which so many
villagers
participate raised over £1,000 this year.
Most of all, though, we have made many firm friends here. |
